Phi Eta Sigma is the oldest and largest national honor society that encourages and rewards academic excellence achieved during the first year in college. The Florida State University (FSU) chapter is one of the premiere chapters in the nation.

Scholarship Information

Hello PES Students,

We are excited to announce the opening of the Phi Eta Sigma Scholarship Application Period for the 2018 – 2019 school year!

There are many scholarships being offered from the national office of Phi Eta Sigma, so please consider applying! To learn more about the scholarship details please visit:

Requirements:

1.)    You must be a member of the FSU Chapter of Phi Eta Sigma

2.)    You must be a full time, undergraduate student for the Fall 2018 – Spring 2019 school year OR a first year, graduate student for the Fall 2018 – Spring 2019 school year

Your preliminary application will first be submitted for review to your FSU chapter advisor, Katie Mikusak. From here, selected students will be notified to meet and review their application in further detail, before officially submitting their application to the national office of Phi Eta Sigma.

Preliminary applications are due FEBRUARY 14, 2018!

Meetings with selected candidates will begin February 16th.

Please note, the questions require extensive responses! It is recommended that you begin, edit, and work on your drafts within a Word document, then copy and paste into the designated fields. Furthermore, by the time you submit your final application (before March 31st), you will need to have letters of recommendation, but these are NOT required for you preliminary application
