Phi Eta Sigma is the oldest and largest national honor society that encourages and rewards academic excellence achieved during the first year in college.
The Florida State University (FSU) chapter is one of twelve campus-wide honor societies officially recognized by The Florida State University and is an active member of the Council of Honor Societies. The Florida State chapter, which is among the largest in the society, typically welcomes 1,000 - 1,200 undergraduates into membership at our annual spring induction ceremony.
How to Join
Every spring, students who have (or had) a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher at the close of a full-time curricular period during the first year in college are invited to join Phi Eta Sigma. Students are only invited to join one time.
